It's aliiiiiiiveHockey's over now, but work and school live...And to fill in that gap left by hockey, I've taken up kickboxing, and may soon take up roller hockey! So again with the no time to really be lazy anymore...Okay, that's a lie, I have Sundays and Mondays (after school) off...But they usually fill up quick enough...So yeah.
Anyhoo, what's new avec moi?...Uh...Well, I got DDR now, my mom went in on it with me 'cause her friend's son lost 15 pounds playing it...She insists she wants to play it but she's yet to show any interest, aside from the first day...She got so frustrated that the arrows were moving too fast (training mode) so she gave up...Her attitude kinda makes me feel like she only paid for part of it so I'd use it...I feel fat. T.T Lol.
Also, I got my graduating present. ^-^ A shiny laptop (it was my brother's, but to all you people who say "Ew, second-hand", you've clearly never seen my brother's second-hand stuff. My brother is the type of guy who has to have the newest technology, so he rarely keeps anything longer than six months. The laptop was an exception because he didn't need it once he got his job, so he kept it for even less time than usual...Anyhoo, there's a teensy problem with it. <.<; Y'see...It's a Mac...And I dunno anything about Macs. XD
My brother's given me this feeling that he wants me to follow in his footsteps and go for computer sciences instead of psychology...What with the "Here, read this programming book, I'll give you a test at the end of the summer" and the "Your computer's got a problem? Don't ask me, figure it out on your own. That's how I had to learn" and stuff like that...So when I asked him if he would teach me how to use the Mac, his reply was something like "You plug it in with this to charge it, I hope you know how to turn it on"
Voilą, Ashley=Screwed.
XD Not really, it's not so bad, I got the main stuff down...I can use Microsoft office on it, which is a bonus, and I have all kinds of Adobe junk. It's got a DVD burner, I figured out how to access the internet, and I even have MSN! XD So I have the necessities, what comes next is just from exploring. Wish me luck. ^-^;
Anyhoo, it's almost midnight so I gutta go wash up and hit the sack.
